Alberta, candidates must complete and meet all the licensing and good character requirements established by the Law Society of British Columbia  as necessary to becoming a lawyer in this province. 

Ceremonies formally presenting newly admitted lawyers to the court will be conducted in the fall.

The local bar association will notify newly admitted lawyers and their firms of the dates and times of these ceremonies.

A hard copy Call to the Bar information package will be provided to CPLED Students attending the last Face to Face sessions. 

Pour être « admis au Barreau » du Québec, les candidats doivent remplir et satisfaire à toutes les exigences en matière de licence et de bonne moralité établies par Barreau du Quebec comme nécessaires pour devenir avocat dans cette province.

Ontario has multiple Call To The Bar dates in Toronto, London and Ottawa. Dates are posted in January by The Law Society of Ontario. 

Calls to the Bar take place quarterly. The call dates normally fall in January, April, June and November but may be moved for multiple reasons.  Articled Clerks who start their articles on June 1 will be called in June of the following year.

All candidates for admission must appear in full court apparel, which consists of: black shoes; black or dark grey socks or black, dark grey or natural hose; black vest; black gown; and white shirt with stiff wing collar and white tabs.
