What Happens at the Call to the Bar Ontario Ceremony?
The Call to the Bar Ontario ceremony is a formal legal proceeding where candidates are admitted as Barristers and Solicitors of the Law Society of Ontario.
During the ceremony, candidates:
- Take an oath or affirmation as officers of the court
- Are formally called to the Bar of Ontario
- Receive official recognition of their qualification
- Attend in full court attire, including a barrister robe, tabs, and court shirt
